Carol Duvall is a popular American television show host of the long-running The Carol Duvall Show which started on the HGTV network and was later broadcast on the DIY Network.
Duvall started her television career in 1951 on a children’s show in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A local radio station purchased a television station and she and a friend agreed to go and audition. The station liked what it had to offer and Carol got a job.
Duvall was doing 17 live shows a week by the end of the first year.
In 1962, the manager of the station headed to WWJ-TV in Detroit and employed Duvall to work there.
