          Dunja Mijatović (Serbian Cyrillic: Дуња Мијатовић; born 8 September ) is a human rights expert and activist, serving as the Council of Europe.

          Dunja Mijatović of Bosnia and Herzegovina was elected as the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights on January 24, 2018. Previously, she was appointed OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media in March 2010, and reappointed for a second term in March 2013.

          She is an expert in media law and regulation.
