          Professor Ken Kobré has been an professional photojournalist, educator and author for more than 35 years. His former students, who include winners of the Pulitzer Prize, World Press Awards, and many other prestigious honors, work on staff and as freelancers for publications and media outlets around the world.

          Most professionals working in photojouralism or videojouralism today have been influenced by his textbooks. His book Photojournalism: The Professionals’ Approach, sixth edition, published by Focal Press, has been the widest-selling text on photojournalism in the world since 1980.
