          Michael Douglas remembers 'Kominsky Method' co-star Alan Arkin: 'We lost a wonderful actor'

          Michael Douglas shared a thoughtful tribute of late co-star Alan Arkin, his onscreen best friend in the "The Kominsky Method."

          Arkin's representative Melody Korenbrot confirmed his death at 89 to USA TODAY on Friday.

          "Today we lost a wonderful actor whose intelligence, sense of comedy and consummate professionalism over the past 70 years has left an indelible mark on our industry," the "Ant-Man" actor wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, a photo with the late Oscar winner.

          "My experience of working with Alan were some of my most memorable. He will be deeply missed."

          Tributes from other stars have also come pouring in since the actor's death.
