Three Worlds One Vision
I was born in Guyana, a former British colony on the northern coast of the South American continent.
As a young idealist in the s, I dedicated seven years to the religious life as a Catholic nun and high school teacher of art and geography.
As the only English-speaking country on the continent, Guyana’s historical, cultural, and economic development are linked with the Caribbean Region and is a founding member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
